Speed Watch

Today, between the hours of 13:30 - 13:30hrs I conducted Speed Watch duties in the area of Canterbury Road, Lydden. During this time, I observed and recorded a total of 107 passing vehicles entering the village, with 11 of those being driven in excess of the speed limit (equating to approx. 10% of all vehicles entering that area). Sadly many of the speeding vehicles  were observed being driven up to speeds of 55mph. 

We are dedicated to ensure Lydden remains a safe place to live, work and visit.
